At VR2GO, I worked as a 3D Generalist on an interactive tractor simulation designed for a highly realistic VR experience. I was responsible for modeling the entire tractor—both interior and exterior—including moving mechanical parts and a fully detailed cockpit. The project utilized Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5, as well as iClone and motion capture data for authentic character interactions. I also contributed to streamlining the asset pipeline to ensure smooth integration into the game engine.
As part of the same project, I created a detailed 3D model of an excavator. This model was developed through extensive kitbashing of base models from other tractors, followed by retopology, optimization, and significant remodeling. Many components were modeled from scratch to replace missing or low-detail parts, ensuring both technical accuracy and visual fidelity. The primary challenge was balancing high technical realism with an intuitive, immersive player experience—and we successfully achieved both.
